CONverge Concert 2016

Earlier today I had the honour of attending the CONverge Concert 2016.

The CONverge program is a partnership between the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and The Smith Family.  It seeks to explore and develop the student’s musical identity, creativity and potential.

CONverge connects The Smith Family, Westpac, young musicians and members of the Conservatorium.  The Conservatorium is a space for people to experience making music and to enjoy the feeling of being a musician.

Students from Chifley College Mount Druitt Campus, Miller Technology High School and Mitchell High School performed individually and then got together with the combined choir of Westpac and The Smith Family singers for a final amazing song.

AGL supports 340 children through The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program – we couldn’t be more proud of these wonderfully talented kids.
