AGL on DJSI World Index
The results of the 2011 annual review of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) were released this afternoon.
AGL remains a constituent of the DJSI World Index. AGL is one of 13 companies selected to be a component of the DJSI World Index for the Electric Utilities sector, out of an eligible universe of 102 companies. AGL is the only Australian energy company amongst the 13 companies on this list.
AGL also continues to be a part of the DJSI Asia Pacific Index – one of three companies out of an eligible universe of 16. Origin Energy and CLP Holdings are the other constituents.
This excellent result for AGL adds to ongoing success for AGL’s sustainability strategy.
